Required to attend Item Writing Workshop and Education Seminar on May 2, 2010 at the ARRS Annual Meeting.

RSNA Advanced Course in Grant Writing

Up to 12 junior faculty selected in a competitive process

Multi-session course over a 9 month timespan

Prepare and submit a grant application to major funding agency by the end of course

Lecture, small group discussion, one-on-one interactions.

Extensive off-site writing  assignments

Up to 30 junior faculty selected in a competitive process

Create a clinical trial study design ready for development into a grant application for external funding by end of course

Introduction to grants process geared toward junior faculty, with an emphasis on developing specific aims
